Absolutely! Montessori education is designed to cater to the individual needs of all children, including those with barriers to learning. The DSM approach recognizes and celebrates the uniqueness of each child, fostering an inclusive environment where differences are embraced. In Montessori classrooms, the emphasis on individualized learning allows teachers to tailor their approach to accommodate various learning styles and paces. The hands-on materials and child-led activities provide opportunities for all children, regardless of learning barriers, to engage and explore at their own pace. The Montessori philosophy values the holistic development of children, encompassing not only academic skills but also social, emotional, and practical life skills. This inclusive approach aims to support every child's growth and development, fostering a love for learning in a supportive and accepting environment.

YES! In fact they do more than just cope they EXCEL! DSM learners have a unique advantage when it comes to traditional primary schools because their early childhood education gives them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the classroom. Not only are they already familiar with the concepts and ideas taught in traditional primary schools, they also have a greater sense of independence and self-awareness that helps them to excel in the classroom. Additionally, DSM students have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively, both of which are invaluable in traditional primary schools all made possible through our curriculum. Learners are also taught to be well-prepared to handle the social expectations that come with traditional primary school, such as making friends and dealing with rules and authority figures. All of these qualities give DSM learners the edge when attending either a Montessori, traditional or private primary school.

You betcha! DSM offers Soccer Starz, Tumbling Tigerz, Flip Flop Gymnastics, Aqautic Zone Swim School, and Kid's Coding Academy as of 2024! There is even an after-school Islamic studies programme offered for Muslim learners.

Visitors came from all over the world to see Maria Montessori’s “Miracle Children” the children in her first Casa Dei Bambini in Rome. The miracle which attracted public attention was that children of illiterate families had begun to write and to read spontaneously after working with very simple materials.
